So in keeping with the vintage "farmhouse" theme that I have been obsessed with for awhile now, I decided to switch out our standard light bulbs in a couple of our light fixtures for the Edison style vintage amber bulbs. I think they turned out great. They are dimmer than a standard 60 watt bulb, but they put off such a pretty ambient lighting that I love it. I also removed the glass dome around each bulb so they would be more exposed.

It Has Been Awhile.....
It has been quite some time since I have posted pictures. My life has been dedicated to a new side business that I started and my decorating has taken a back seat.
So, today I decided just to snap some photos of the house and post them. They aren't much, but here you go....
see that light fixture in the below picture. I just ordered some vintage Edison bulbs and I intend to remove the white glass pendants and replace with only the vintage bulbs. I can't wait to see how it turns out. They should be here sometime next week.
I also bought new vintage Edison style bulbs that will be going in the light fixture over the farmhouse table and over the island.
