Welcome to our humble home, decorated for Christmas.

I decided to make a pom pom wreath for the front door in a bright red. |
Here is the foyer. The theme is fairly rustic. |
The wreath was made using a wreath form wrapped in tinsel. The belt is just some ribbon, the buckle is made out of cardboard covered with glitter and the HOHOHO is made using foam letters covered in glitter and hot glued on. |
I added a bow and a small tree to my milk can and I turned it around so the cow is on the backside. |
I added another small tree to my vintage enamelware pot and wrapped it with a bow. |
Here is the great room |
We have a lot of Santa Suit decor so I topped the tree with a santa hat and the skirt is also a santa suit. |
The snowballs were made using styrofoam balls and white paint. I just poured some course sea salt into the white craft paint until it was a nice thick consistency and slapped it on and let it dry. |
See.... the santa suit theme again. |

I wrapped a bunch of plastic candy canes in fabric and set them on a dish along with some greenery. |
These little guys are just wooden blocks painted white. The faces were painted on and the hats are little socks from the dollar store. The socks were a little too white for the aged look so I soaked them in some strong coffee to eliminate the brightness. The scarves are just scraps of material. |
The "Believe" is just pieces of wood cut in varying heights. I used some scrapbook paper and modge podged it on, then used some glue to write the letters and covered the glue in glitter while it was still wet. The stockings were embellished as well. They were simple sweater stockings. I added the fuzzy white tops, the bow and then hot glued a rustic ornament on each one. |

I beaded this tree many years ago. My initial plan was to make one for several family members. Well, it was quite a pain in the butt, so we only have one and this is it. |
